Liquid Chlorophyll - Helps Promote the Natural
Cleansing Functions of the Body
What is Chlorophyll?
Chlorophyll is a green pigment found in most plants, and is vital for photosynthesis, which allows plants to obtain energy from light. Chlorophyll also performs metabolic functions in plants such as respiration and growth. The chemical composition of chlorophyll is similar to that of haemoglobin. The only difference between chlorophyll and haemoglobin is their central component, chlorophyll has magnesium at its centre, while haemoglobin has iron.
Green foods are some of the lowest-calorie, lowest-sugar, and most nutrient-rich foods on the planet. While green foods comprise a wide variety of different types, from single celled algae to flowering plants, they all share one thing in common, chlorophyll. It is chlorophyll which produces the green colour in plants and is considered the "blood" of plants.
The benefits of various green foods seem related to their chlorophyll content. Chlorophyll has the power to regenerate our bodies at the molecular and cellular level. It is known to help cleanse the body, fight infection, help heal wounds, and promote the health of the circulatory, digestive, immune, and
detoxification systems. Chlorophyll consumption increases the number of red blood cells and, therefore, increase oxygen utilization by the body. Chlorophyll also reduces the binding of carcinogens to DNA in the liver and other organs. It also breaks down calcium oxalate stones for elimination, which are created by the body for the purpose of neutralizing and disposing of excess acid.
Health Benefits of Chlorophyll:
- Removes toxic heavy metals in the body.
- Cleanses the digestive tract.
- Lowers high blood pressure.
- Lowers blood sugar level.
- Eliminates bad breath.
- Increases oxygen utilization by the body.
- Replenishes and increases the red blood cells in the body.
- Breaks down calcium oxalates or kidney stones for elimination.
Although chlorophyll occurs naturally, especially in leafy plants and vegetables, the cooking process destroys many of the nutritional benefits.
